SIMMS Inventory Management Software has benefited from three major design advantages over some of its competitors:

Design Advantage #1:
The development of SIMMS Inventory Management Software was started later than that in most other companies. While most other solutions are written in platforms such as Visual Basic or CGI, starting later allowed us to develop SIMMS using the latest superior development languages that include Microsoft.NET™, Microsoft Visual C#, C++® and Microsoft SQL Server Technology.

Design Advantage #2:
We were not limited by the need to maintain compatibility with the legacy systems of the 1980s, which imposed limitations in their design, growth and compatibility.

Design Advantage #3:
With the availability of handheld computing, SIMMS inventory software continues to prove its adaptability to new technologies, helping to assure you of a solution that will keep you competitive as your business evolves.

A practical choice in a dynamic world
In this website we have made many ambitious claims about how powerful SIMMS inventory management software is and how it will significantly enhance your organization's inventory control. To substantiate this, we will describe how we used state-of-the-art technology and an innovative design philosophy to develop a practical, day-to-day workhorse, which will quickly prove to be the most valuable inventory management asset to your company.

Our goal went beyond creating a product with innumerable features. Our intention was to address the common concerns of business owners across the world.

SIMMS is easy enough to be used by a high-school student at a cash register, but can be scaled-up to meet the extensive demands of the Chief Information Officer. SIMMS does not require months of training or years of customization before it delivers a significant return on investment.

We kept in mind that if accountants designed the product, it might not meet the demands of the other departments of an enterprise, and if we allowed technical people to design it, our end users would probably also have to be software engineers. Since business owners and senior managers are responsible for the efficiency and harmony between all departments, if the product were designed from their perspective, keeping their needs and concerns in mind, it would not fall short of the expectations of any user.

While designing a powerful, high-end product, we realized that it could get very complicated from a daily use perspective, thereby rendering it impractical. We took particular care to minimize the dependence of the business on database administrators, custom developers and consultants. We did this because we understand that a business person needs to focus on the core business and not be forced to learn and understand technical jargon to run the business efficiently.
